Johnny is adamant about not wanting any kind of memorial or service when he passes one day. He figures his gift is the day back you'd have had to dress up, drive, and hear sad stories. The hell with that. That being said he has told his girlfriend a memorial would be OK if she could get Patty Griffin to show up and play three songs, 'Carry Me' being one.
