Those Oscoda Owls went up to Rogers City tonight and won big, 50-0. The Owls are 2-0 and play Tawas next week. Johnny's high school alma mater, Ortonville Brandon took apart Goodrich tonight 41-28 to take the inside track on a Flint Metro division title. A good night all around for high school football scores.

After 60 years, White Interiors is no more

Mea culpa, Johnny nicely outfitted a bedroom, along with 2 chairs and an extra dresser from White Interiors a couple months after arriving in Oscoda. He's a big believer in shopping local. Sadly though, after 60 years White's Interiors is no more and has been completely closed up. Another mom and pop business closes up and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be another furniture store ready to open here. 

Seymour's in East Tawas it is. Too bad Covid hit right when it did and the White Interiors rehab job never got to take root. So long to an old Oscoda friend.

Oscoda got off to a great start this afternoon with a big 58-0 win over Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes. Great way to start off a new, however strange, season.

They have forced an new interface on the owners of blogs behind the scenes of what you see here dear readers. The new interface is absolute shit. Seriously, it's not better, far from clearer, and really awkward to work with. The old interface we had for years was clean and well set up. Now it's about big images and nonsense. It's almost like Google had a team sitting around doing nothing and invited them to give input on the worst possible redesign for the first time in their lives. You'll note no tags in this post, it won't accept them in Chrome apparently. Odd, right?

Face it, if you were involved in the backside redesign, you've failed. Go find other work. Web design isn't your thing.
