This video for 'I Knew the Bride When She Used to Rock And Roll' is a valuable lesson that the guy who writes great songs and has a cool car with tailfins always gets the gal.

Speaking of which kids, next week's Music Series is up in the air as snowy weather may be arriving next Thursday and Friday which would impact Johnny's Christmas travel plans. It'll be catch as catch can next weekend. Most likely Johnny will be out of town. If weather keeps him in Oscoda, we'll have a fine Music Series.
Christine McVie was an amazingly talented woman and her voice was angelic but Johnny has seen so many tributes to her, we're just celebrating the band tonight.

Monday Johnny's going in for a heart procedure downstate and he's been told by his cheerleaders it's nothing big but when a heart is involved, well it's serious. Should the unthinkable happen and Johnny not be able to carry on the City Desk traditions, it's been a slice and he's appreciated every reader who ever dropped by in Ypsilanti, Jersey City or here in Oscoda.
