Big ballgame tomorrow in East Lansing and just about everyone in the great state of Michigan is talking about it. Another thing Michiganders like to discuss is how the music from Michigan is just so much better than any state in the Big Ten or any state in America truly.

The big game is Saturday in East Lansing and of course you'll want to come back by for the Saturday night Scoreboard Show! Al the best scores with all the best highlites!

Sunday, being Halloween, will mean a spectacular spooktacular as only Johnny can do. All those classic Halloween songs and a few surprises along the way.

Oscoda's playoff hopes didn't pan out this year. Sadly the 6-3 Owls will sit this year's playoffs out. Oscoda just couldn't get enough points out of their wins to qualify. Scheduling better teams going forward with the new playoff points system will help. Oscoda wound up with 25.111 points and would have needed the 30.694 Mancelona had to make it in. 

Here's to this year's team who never quit and represented Oscoda so well.

Oscoda ran the table after a three game losing streak mid-season. They won at the Owl's Nest tonight 36-19 over Houghton Lake. Now Oscoda waits to see if they have done enough to make the MHSAA playoffs. Johnny will have an update as soon as he hears.

'Dem Owls went north of the bridge tonight and come home with a hard fought 18-12 victory over St. Ignace which improves Oscoda to 5-3 and with a win vs 2-6 Houghton Lake next week at the Owl's Nest, well, we hope they can keep the playoff streak alive. They have rebounded from the mid-season 3 game losing streak with a late-season 3 game winning streak. Way to fight back!

BUT 'Season of the Witch' plays over the frozen dead body of Nicole Kidman as Illeana Douglas ice skates over her face at the end of To Die For and Johnny watched Zodiac last week and there was tonight's second song, 'Hurdy Gurdy Man' playing over the first two murders of the movie. 

Just shit only Johnny notices. There seems to be some debate who plays guitar on this song, Jimmy Paige or Jeff Beck. Does anyone know for sure?

Johnny and his girlfriend had a proper movie night this evening and with the news of this week went with 1997's excellent film 'Zodiac' which had an amazing soundtrack. Johnny's an awesome cold case researcher and has indeed read on and studied the Zodiac case. Johnny collaborated his research with one of the top Zodiac researchers around until he passed away. With the news of a man named Gary Poste being named it would appear to once and for all put to rest Arthur Leigh Allen as a suspect (Though he was ruled out by DNA around 2002). Famed TV detective Joe Kenda says he doesn't believe in coincidence, a belief that has served him well. That being said Johnny would love to ask him about Allen and how he looked so good on so many fronts for so long. Is it truly Poste? Time will have to tell. Mark Ruffalo hasn't said it's him yet.
