Johnny was terribly sad to see Blondie drummer Clem Burke passed away a couple weeks back. Beyond being a fantastic drummer, not many in his class, he told wonderful stories on the Twitter. Always a positive guy. Let's do Mr. Burke's memory a friendly and go with 'Dreaming' to kick things off tonight.

Sure Johnny will use about any excuse to post a Blondie song on the old Music Series but tonight he actually has a reason. Johnny remains one of her biggest fans and she'd probably make her way onto Johnny's Rock and Roll Mount Rushmore.

Johnny not only loves this song the most of all the Blondie songs and that's saying something, he loves this video too. This is Johnny's friend Paco's fave-o-rite Blondie track as well. Great minds think alike.

If there is something that sounds familiar in this song but you can't quite say for sure what it is, Bruce Springsteen was visiting the studio the day this track was cut and Blondie's Chris Stein used his guitar on it. Was that what you'd been hearing?

Sometimes Johnny is just in the mood for this song. This is one of those times. So brilliant and ahead of its time. Debbie and Chris did that a lot. At least 1/3 of the US economy runs on the ideas expressed in this song. You kids pay attention.
