Friday night is movie night at Johnny's place and tonight was the classic "The Warriors" which is surely a love letter to that era of New York City. 'In the City' taking us out tonight.

"Good news boppers, the big alert has been called off. It turns out that the early reports were wrong, all wrong. Now for that group out there that had such a hard time getting home, sorry about that. I guess the only thing we can do is play you a song."

Johnny remembers reading a piece on how cold the old Candlestick Park in San Francisco used to get in the evenings even in the summer. The fog would roll in and it got c-c-c-cold by all accounts. In fact, the Giants used to give pins out to fans who stayed the full length of an extra-inning game as a memento to their toughness.

A music writer was reviewing an Eagles concert at Candlestick and to that chilly-end, Johnny remembers him writing, "The last things you want to hear at 11:45pm at Candlestick Park is, Ladies and gentlemen, Joe Walsh!"
