Saturday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BUDDY HOLLY!
65 years. The so-called 'Day the Music Died' was 65 years ago today as people found out about the terrible tragedy out of a town called Clear Lake, Iowa. Buddy Holly, J. P. Richardson (the Big Bopper), Richie Valens and pilot Roger Peterson were gone in a snow squall.
You know how today police don't release a victim's name until after a family member has been notified? It's because of this tragedy. Elena, Buddy's now very-new widow found out about his death watching the news and had a miscarriage the next day.
The man, the legend, the day that will live on forever in memory. 'Rave On' taking us out tonight.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with BUDDY HOLLY!
Johnny and his girlfriend have a Friday night movie night as you may well know. Tonight's movie was the underrated film 'Pleasantville' and in a key scene this gem is played on the juke box. 'Rave On' taking us out tonight.
