Saturday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with RAY CHARLES!

An up-tempo number to take us out this week plus Johnny didn't want to make things too maudlin with our tributes above. 'Mess Around' taking us out tonight.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with RAY CHARLES!

There just aren't many better songs around to start off a Music Series than 'Mess Around' so guess what? 'Mess Around' kicking things off tonight.

Friday night MULTIMEDIA EXTRAVAGANZA with RAY CHARLES!

Friday night is movie night at Johnny's place with his girlfriend and tonight was the Thanksgiving classic Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Such a funny and touching film. Tonight was the first time Johnny had watched it since his wife passed and it was rather difficult watching scenes with John Candy's Del Griffith character having experienced the same thing and totally understanding his never-ending love for his late wife. In one of the great vignettes from the car portion of the film, John Candy orchestrates the band and plays in it when this song, 'The Mess Around' by Mr. Ray Charles, comes on the radio.

So good.
